Very sharp in attack, we obviously won't be as open v top teams but it's encouraging to see the link up and combinations coming off.
I asked for a blowout win and a clean sheet. Germany only did half the job. Must improve defensively. Sané needs to be dropped.
Sane is simply not sharp enough on the ball to play the style of play that meshes with the other players.
The amount of passes into nowhere leading to counterattacks were unusual. Sometimes there were easy alternatives for short passes and the high risk option was chosen for no reason. I also didn't like signs of arrogance. In other games you'll have to take it seriously till the last minute because teams will punish that.
Nmecha and Pavlovic they will still battle hard battles for germany this tourney and in future . great stuff

Sane is our biggest problem especially with Nagelsman being so hard headed when it come to him. overall as a expected and happy Musiala got his first WC goal - Wirtz will follow soon
The problem is this system ideally needs a profile like Sane's. If you start Undav and move Musiala to the right you don't have the runner in behind. I can understand why Nagelsmann left him on as we could do with him finding some form, otherwise it's a case of changing tactics or starting Leweling.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't quite understand why Musiala can't do what Sane does on the team. Musiala may not be AS FAST as Leroy but he's plenty fast.
Interesting match Good - we looked so much better vs a low block than under Low. Quick combos attacking the goal. Strikers scored and are in rhythm. Average. IMO not enough vertical balls from our CBs attempting to pull apart their CBs. We had plenty of width but more vertical options would have been nice. Nmecha was sharp in attack, but I felt we left too much space defensively in the middle of the park. Maybe that was by design. Poor - Effort levels after their goal. Adversity will happen and we didn’t react very well. Sane - I am not German nor do I have a coaching license, but I cannot believe he is one of the 26 best German footballers.

I think Curacao played with some courage and tried no matter what the score last. However they couldn't keep up with us for 90 minutes and caused some fatigue and lapse of concentration on their part. (Not that we didn't have our own). Also Neuer doing Neuer things, once.
