From Highbury, JVC shirt sponsors April 9, 1996 This is on Setanta Sports, you know the channel everyone raised hell about me watching. This is a jewel of a match, I have no clue of the result, but its a chance for those of us newer fans to see the famous back four, Seaman before the and a young Dennis Bergkamp Direct TV 615
Don't ask me, thats just the date on the top of the screen Keownnn just scored leveling the match at 2. seaman is not in goal.
Chelsea's shirt sponsor is Coors, maybe that helps out on the year. Arsenal went down 2 nil inside 30 minutes and Keown draws level at 2 with 20 minutes left. Keown is wearing number 16 not 5
should there be an R on this thread? So you're subscribing to the chelsea channel now? Some of us losers only have basic cable in the off season. So keep up the pbp. When I left my mom's earlier she was watching this story about this guy cutting off his arm that was stuck in the mountain to save himself. She kept saying...oh my goodness he's going to die...oh no what if he can't cut it...oh no....I'm like...I hate to spoil the end for ya but this is the same one-armed guy giving the fcuking interview. So I think he makes it!
That was a great show (about the guy cutting his arm off!). As for the game...if the sponsor was Coors than it was from 96/97. That was our last year with them and I think the game she showed (I don't have DirecTV) was a 3-3 draw. I think the game you are talking about was playing on SEPT 4, 1996. It was probably listed as 4-9-96 in the program guide and the genius's at DirecTV assumed that was the American way of listing dates, when in fact in England, that Sept 4, 1996. In the US that is April 9, 1996. Look here: http://www.chelseafc.com/article.as...-+History&sub=History+-+Database&nav=&sublid=
