I've registered and indicated desire to make payment through PayPal but it never prompted payment from the site. I can go to PayPal.com separately to do that, but I suggest providing interface for both registration and the payment through PayPal from the 1906/Ultras site.
I've now paid by going directly through PayPal's site, www.PayPal.com, and sending payment to 1906ultras@gmail.com. For those wishing to do so the same, register at the 1906/Ultras site, which will generate an invoice for $25 per membership. Then go to the PayPal site and make payment.
Darn ! ! ! I'm not going to be able to do this until the following Friday and all because I spent it all on christmas shopping.
The colors are the Quakes colors. We can not use any logo without permission from MLS and that process takes forever so it wasn't worth us even trying. If it were the Quakes we may have been able to get it but the league is a problem.
I think the scarf looks fine, however, you could have put "San Jose" in it without league approval, and/or maybe even "Earthquakes", since it is such a generic term around these parts. And certainly "Quakes" would not have been an issue.
It was considered in several of the early prototypes but we didn't want to take any chances. We have heard a few stories of the League being absolutely anal about anything that could be considered trademarked so we figured why take a chance.
I've signed up! When do we receive our scarves? I'm hoping soon so I can use it while it's still cold.
They are still in production and we probably will not get them until late January at the earliest. Don't worry we will begin to distribute them as soon as I get them.
I look forward to joining you guys...especially for the games in Oakland. I know you all will be in section 101 at Buck Shaw. What about Oakland?? I know the answer probably has been stated several times in the past few weeks but I'm too lazy to look through the forums.
A direct payment link would be a better sell--like Don had to go through the site proper. In, even though my seat is technically behind the goal and I have a carry over membership from the 1906 days with the Victory. It's looking that I will be moving back and forth between 101 and the end zone, along with someone else--no not saying who that gal is. Also in Oakland the Casbah and 1906/Ultras will be next to each other in the Northwest side of the Coliseum--where the high left field stands are located next to the stairs that lead to the field.
