Big stakes, as all these are now. Yanited are reeling, playing terrible football at the moment. We need something from this to continue to put distance between us and relegation. Match is on NBCSN at 2:45 PM EST. Not sure locally. Beer pairing is a Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout. It's sweet, but not too sweet, almost like a porter. Then there is the Samuel Smith Organic Chocolate Stoyt, which is probably my favorite Stout. It's phenomenal. If Stouts aren't your thing, but you'd like to try a darker beer, there is the wonderful world of Porters. I'll stick with something local, and suggest the Schell Vanilla Porter. Pretty sweet, but with really good vanilla flavor. Predicted starting XI: Courtois Bane Gaz JT Dave Matic Fab Willian Oscar Hazard Costa Because, let's be honest here, we haven't changed it yet....
Appreciate the beer pairings. I've just been so busy with the holidays. I love a good stout and I think the Samuel Smith is good. I love vanilla porters so thats a good rec. Will be interesting to see the lineup Guus puts out there after seeing the guys in action for a game. Apparently, he didn't like what he saw from Fab. Guess he had to confirm with his own eyes. Probably Remy up top for Costa. Ivan was getting torched by Watford.
For beer - I suggest Iceland's finest - Einstök. All their beers are delicious, I particularly like the White Ale. Iceland is my new favourite country in the world, if you have never been you should go there. Icelandic White Ale : Wheat malt, pilsner malt, oats, bavarian noble hops spiced with coriander and orange peel. ABV: 5.2% Tasting notes: A clean and crisp start with a smooth mouthfeel thanks to the oats, citrus and spice round out a refreshing finish. Icelandic Toasted Porter. . . Lager malt, munich malt, chocolate malt, bavarian hops, with the slight addition of authentic icelandic roasted coffee. ABV: 6.0% Tasting notes: Smooth, roasty with some chocolate, toffee and licorice notes. Just drink the beer and forget about how many goals we are losing by. . . .
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...as-misses-trip-to-face-Manchester-United.html Hopefully Guus has seen all he needs to from him.
Forgot to add, no more how much I like Remy if he is never available when Costa isnt what is the point in keeping him around?
with all the injuries lets just try to dribble the ball into the back of the net . . . Courtois Zouma Gaz JT Dave Matic Oscar Willian Hazard Pedro Kenedy Or with all the injuries lets just try to get a good 0-0 draw . . . Courtois Dave Gaz JT Baba Matic Zouma RLC Willian Hazard Kenedy IF Hazard is out we could go with Pedro or just bring in Mikel to shore things up.
Yeah I'm actually a big fan of his but wtf? Never fit. His injury probs make bringing Falcao in look even dumber.. Who knows though, maybe Kenedy will step up and be up for it.
Hazard will play up top with Oscar, Willian, Pedro behind. Matic and Ramires. And then you've got your Ivan, Terry, Zouma (to match Martial's pace), and Az.
that is probably the most likely line-up. Not sure if it will be Terry or Cahill. Cahill is the better player atm - but Terry is the only leader we have. Hazard is in the shop window - if he wants to play for real Madrid he will need a hat trick today
A loss is on the cards. Chelsea are unbeaten in their last eight league and cup games against Manchester United (W5, D3). KO at 17.30 GMT early evening game in the UK so, that is 12.30pm est right? 5 hours I always get confused
Guus and LvG aren't the best of friends, either. Plus, Jose is waiting in the wings. Can't write this stuff. I see this as a 2-1 loss. Our offense can create enough chances, but our defense is too weak.
Chelsea team v Man Utd: Courtois; Ivanovic, Zouma, Terry (c), Azpilicueta; Mikel, Matic; Willian, Oscar, Pedro; Hazard Subs: Begovic, Baba Rahman, Djilobodji, Ramires, Loftus-Cheek, Traore, Kenedy.
Manchester United XI: De Gea, Darmian, Smalling, Blind, Young, Schneiderlin, Schweinsteiger, Mata, Herrera, Martial, Rooney
good shout on the Einstock. good stuff. i also very much like iceland. i'll be at work....drinking the dark stuff. coffee that is.
