I got a mailing from the Charge today which says just that; tickets for the championship game are being scaled from $23 to $150 ($23, $35, $40, $50 and $150). Groups of 15 are $5 off on the $40 seats on down. Unfortunately, the seat chart which was in color was copied on a b/w copier, so good luck in determining what's silver, gold, platinum, Founders and field seats. SD STH'ers get first crack at them, then all the other teams STH'ers follow from now until 6/15, then general public sale. Paul
When the final is at a stadium with only 7500 seats, WUSA can charge $150. It's all about the Benjamins.
They had $150 seats at another game I went to for the Nat team. Was it a Gold Cup game??? Can't remember what game it was, but I think I sat with Tsunami at that one, right behind the Fawcett family. They are field level, right near the team benches I believe. I'll just be happy to get seats PERIOD. N~
The Nat's game against Japan held at Torero had the $150 seats. They were actually free-standing, folding chairs that were lined up on the field behind the sideline on either side of the team benches. Those seats for that particular game were autographed and the seat holder got to keep the seat. Don't know if that's what they are doing this time around or not.
