I see you lot brought quite a few to the game today, biggest crowd at the bridge, means away support probably filled both allocations. I've got United on now, you get that as well. Hoping for a boring, dull, unimaginative 0-0
well pleased today with that result, after a hard fought hour,it was great to see the lad's step it up a notch and well we know what happened..... Nice One
Superior fitness. Many of the players have said in interviews this season, that Mourinho was unimpressed with fitness levels, as a whole, when he took over. Well, that, and some really classy players
Left footed curler past and outstretched, diving keeper into the bottom corner of the net. Quality finish.
he is the scorer marseilles really miss. drogba is back! one assist, one goal, he was part of the action which involved the penalty kick?
yeah mate,i read duffers interview on the sky site the other day saying exactly that about the fitness. it's good to know even now that the new system at the club is starting to really improve the squad as awhole, and when you think about it,with players like robben who is what still 20 or something? it's going to mould those young lads into animal's of players for the years to come. oohhh im getting all giddy just thinking about it,the future's most definately bright for the club....
Watched it live mate, thats the benifits of living in the UK. ian - Here can you order me the biggest Taxi Office - No probs, where to mate ian - Oh just a small town in Lawwwnden. Your just a small town in Lawwnden. Small town in Lawwwnden. etc etc.
What a great time. Had a date. Watched Chelsea win 4-0. Bought her breakfast. And Kezman finally gets a goal; hopefully this'll break his duck. Loved the team's entire celebration for him; I think going right after Dacourt made him a favorite. Whatever his end product, he always works hard. Now then, 8 points on top. Bring on Arsenal!!!!
Er... I ment the Man Utd game. I watched the Chelsea - Newcastle Utd game live as well. Typical northerner...bwahahahaha
I want to thank JM and his band for waiting to the last half hour to really play, so my bleary eyes had become clear and the elixer of life, caffiene, had taken hold; 5:30 is awfully early. As Clan said, class act by JM & Duff to get Kez a goal. The man does not miss a detail. Clan was also right about getting Bridge in on the left, not to say that Gallas is not great, just greater in the center. Drogba, enough said, welcome back. My man of the match, among many, give Cech his due brilliant job.
The most impressive thing I took away from this morning's match - how easily we switched tactics. Souey had the double and triple-team Duff and Robben as soon as they touched the ball in the first half and they were getting hemmed in and had no place to go. Great tactics by NUFC I thought. Second half JM pushed Gallas/Bridge up on overlap runs to take one of the defenders off of Robben and free him up, and also got Frank and Tiago foward more. Created some extra space and what do you know - Frank pops up unmarked in the box to get the vital goal.
Well, United put in a decent performance against a Saints team that never came out of the gate. Arsenal win 3-0 as well. No changes. Everton keep it up as well. 3rd game of the day coming up on the telly - some other small club in North-East London. Ho ho ho.
Damn, DAmn, Damn. Just got up on the West Coast to watch the game that i taped at night.......didn't turn on the cable box, so no picture. Crap, i was really looking forward to watching the game. Arghhhhhhh..O well, at least we won, and won BIG! Go Blues!!! p.s. damn me again
Just back from the Bridge - Newcastle looked as though they were goign to run out of steam, sooner or later - the big turning point was the bringing on of Drogba, as he made much better use of the ball than Eider - his was the best goal as well!
Any thoughts on Tiago; I thought he had really stepped up his game recently but thought he fell back today and was only fair for the most part, with a couple good moments but a couple of bad losing the ball moments as well.
yes, i know, thanks.... it just that i already know the score, so kind of takes away the joy and the surprise of watching the match.
Man, were Saints awful or what? I did some PbP for the United crowd, and man, Soton was just piss poor. Their idea of attack was to boot it to United defenders. Just terrible. The funny thing is that we ripped apart a good Newcastle team who were taking the game to us, and its par for the course. United fans are jumping all over the place after hammering an awful Saints side and saying silly things like "we don't need Robben". Hah! Oh, and Arsenal fans have proclaimed that "the crisis is over". Don't worry boys, it'll set right back in next Sunday.
lol ,just read the account of the manyoo vs southampton game on the yanks abroad forum .In typical fashion they blame the defence and make out keller to be some kind of superman .
KEZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZAH!! That was class, sheer class, and def. made my day. I hope this helps Kezzah with his confidence, as he def. needed that. Now? It's time to take a wee nap to sleep off the multitude of Guinness that was drunk by yours truly.
Oi, I was at the pub of course! The lad just needs a little confidence, a break through, and hopefully giving him the penalty coupled with the fantastic team celebration afterwards will help. So, a bit of patience with the young Kezza, eh?
