    Bramble:rolleyes:

    That was 3rd division stuff.

C'mon Chelsea, i think it's fair too say that Newcastle are up for this one eh?

Mel must be a happy bunny so far.

Whewww - Cech comes up big there.
Don't like what i'm seeing from our game, Newcastle are bossing the midfield so far.

We really need to score here before half-time too take the wind out of them, the longer this goes on the better they'll play.

    Nice shot from Tiago.

We just don't seem to be trying to get down the wings at all.
Newcastle are looking very dangerous with through balls from the middle.

Chelsea just look like they aren't really bothered. Like they just counted on coming in, winning and going home. Too bad Newcastle has something to say. If it wasn't for Cech, we could be down a goal at least by now. Eh, bad "cross" by Ferreira. OWWW EIDUR!! EHHH!!

Newcastle have dictated play thus far. You're right though, we look to be trying to attack straight down the middle. Lots of Tiago and Makelele today so far and not enough Duff and Robben.

Well, Gudjohnson now has his weekly 'missed sitter' out of the way

Time for him to score now.

Hughes on Duff should be a huge advantage for us. Why we aren't using it I don't know.

Good card. It's been getting a little choppy. Arjen should have tried to stay up on that though.

Sounds really quiet at the Bridge today. Granted there isn't much to sing about just yet if you're a Chelsea fan.

Time to shower during half. Come on Arjen. Bury it before half. ARGH! Almost.

Not a great performance at all out there, not a bad one, just didn't create anything of note.Gudjohnson really should have scored, doubt he'll be on for long in the second half - if he even comes out for it at all.

I think this game is crying out for the likes of J Cole too be honest.

    Half time and advantage toon.

A little bit reminiscent of the Liverpool game don't you think?

Um..i suppose, with the exception that Newcastle are actually playing football and creating decent chances.

I feel it'll come down to whos got the fitter side. The Toon players are going to be quite knackered in the last 15 mins with the amount of running, chasing and general hustle they are showing so far.
We may have to wiat untill quite late for the winner.
Thats if we don't give away a silly free kick and concede - which we just did.

Good save from Cech, got down well there.

I can feel we're starting to get on top (finally) in the middle of the pitch.I believe thats where our winner will come from.

with this formation, a 4-4-2, with robben and duff on the wings and kezza and DD up front, expect the game to REALLY open up

Excellent team goal there and a simply class knock down from Drogba to Lampard.

We're on top now, they're on the back foot, we need another to put them away.
