The Big Blue page hasn't been changed as of yet, so I'll assume it will be on Thursday.

As has been reported by Clanblue, Chelsea @ Arsenal will be on live at 10AM on New Years Day. We're also on Saturday, 2 hour delay at 12 noon ET.

    Happy Holidays friends.

    Chelsea, Chelsea!

    Happy hols all.

Reports from Harlington today indicate that desailly will be available for selection for the saints game.

Interesting decision for the gaffer if so.Rest gallas this time as he has been complaining about "all over pain", rest Terry and stick with the core that have seen us in good stead thus far?

    IMHO....Melchiot....Terry....Desailly....Baba.

It's a lonnnnnnng season yet and if Gallas has a bit of bother now why aggravate it?

Gallas has to play against Arsenal, neither Terry or Dessa has the speed to counteract Arsenals speed.

With that in mind I would rest him against either Boro or Southampton.

    Ummm..unusual team selection

    Let's hope it's good enough.
The saints have been enjoying a bit of a run themselves.

    More changes

It would seem the young skinner Morris is now in and Lampard is on the bench.

I know we have a lot of matches to play in a short time and this has to be done, however......

    All Chelsea.
Saints happy to try and defend and try the odd counter.

That final pass is not there though.Subs warming up.

Spurs go 2 down at home.
    Hammers draw level.

De Goey saves the day with his legs.
Mill in the box and the loose ball is belted goal bound.

    Still no subs...or goals...for us.

    Really it's all Chelsea here.

    Chelsea simply all over them.
    Just won't go in though.

Saints came for the 0-0 draw.

Of all the late goals we've scored we could do with another one now.

    Full-Time 0-0

Should have scored at the end.

    Is it a bad result?
End of the season will tell.

A win at Elland road now is a must.

    didn't miss much I see

I missed listening in as I was on the road home. Where was Cudicini today? Decided to rest Gallas, Le Saux and Lampard I see. Don't think De Lucas is the answer in midfield, I'd have him behind Stanic on the depth chart. A couple of goal mouth scambles and Zola missing an open goal in the first hald sound slike all the action. At least Big Ed stepped in and kept a clean sheet, I wouldn't have bet any money on that happening.

I agree with Clan, a win at Elland Road is a must if we want to keep pushing the Gooners. At least Man Utd, Newcastle, Everton and Pool all dropped points as well.

I'll be in the pub Saturday morning but don't forget to get your picks in everyone. Saturday starts the 2nd half competition.

How much snow then Clan? We got 6", and I had a boatload of fun driving to the relatives yesterday. Those back country PA roads can be a nightmare.

We ended up with 18 inches of the crap here in Thornhurst.
Bit further North-East they had 26 inches.

I'm going to wait 'tilli see the injury lists b4 i make a predictio MST.

Cudicini was rested because of the thigh strain he picked up at the end of the villa game.May also miss the leeds game as well.
Everybody else was just rotated/rested for this one.
Southampton came for a point and got it.Strange though, we lost 2 points but actually consolidated our champions league position.Funny 'ol game aint it.

Well it was painfull to watch, as soon as I saw the teams I thought so much for giving southampton respect.

Ok we have a lot of games in a few weeks but come the end of the season those 2 points could be costly.

Mind you I think we were the only team that was going to win.

Seeing De Goey deal with back passes brought back some unhappy memories. I hope cudicini's thigh strain recovers. Mind you he did his usual leg save at the right time.

De Lucas was disapointing, he started the season quite well but has not played that well recently.

I hope we beat Leeds tomorrow they seem to have put a few results together recently.
