Well Chivas are in the history book...they played like crap. As a Rayado I should be happy though..? I'm not sure if I am though, I like Chivas.

Well congratulations to Xelaju, first non-Mexican Concacaf team to eliminate a Mexican team in the new format of the Concacaf Champions League.

    So,

    Monterrey vs Xelaju
    Santos vs Houston
    Seattle vs Tigres
    Galaxy vs Herediano

Galaxy lucked out, they are the only ones I see go through of MLS if , big if, Tuca uses his first team.

Monterrey should take care of Xelaju, Galaxy should beat Herediano (they have a history of choking), Santos should win, Tigres if Tuca plays the A team.

This is probably the worst draw for MLS teams since LA has to beat two MX and the others have to beat three to take it all. If MLS wins it, it will be well deserved.

Lol did they actually lose to the guats? I was looking forward to seeing a chivas vs LA semifinal. That would've been 2 home games for chivas :)

They won 2-1, but they needed a +2 goal differential. I think Monterrey got lucky. I worry more about Chivas next year then Xelaju.

    Totally true!
I was worry about Chivas, not this Chivas but the ones in a few months...
After all, we might have an all "regio" final.
Very well played by the Chivos, they played with Huevous... :)

I think it will be a super regio montano for the final. Tigres are a good team and if Tuca plays his A team they can easily take care of the mls teams and it will be a good game vs Santos. Santos had to pull off a miracle 5 minutes in liguilla to tie and only went through because of the better record. Last I checked the Monterrey teams are the most stocked/expensive teams in Liga MX. They have the talent to go all the way to the final.

Yeah, I hope Tuca takes this games seriously and go with our big guns against Seattle and Santos, I think we still have a foreigner spot available so I'm sure either Danilinho will be back or we'll sign another good player for next tournament, I know La Directiva/Cemex wants to internationalize the team, this is their chance. I wish they would bring a Class A striker, the Spaniard Garcia is not good enough and Pulido still green...

Lol, That's funny! I hope everyone in seattle thinks the same way and they keep that mentality until the first game; it will be funny to watch, specially if Tuca fields our first team.

Tigres always has good teams, their problem is that their play on the field often does not match their potential on paper.

I have a strong, strong desire to troll their sites. I just have a hard time reading the crap they put up. I really hope Tuca trots out the seniors and gives a beating. I will feed on their tears for weeks :D .

About Tigres, Tuca likes to play the Tigrillos a lot, so yeah their tournament record shows that. In all truth, I don't blame him all that much for Copa Libertadores. It is tough to fly 8-10 hours? every other week and then play at home. Here in CONCACAF he did play his A team for home games for the most part and did OK. Between the senior team giving a beating and the tigrillos drawing it wasn't a bad showing.
