unsurprising. this plus Glasner choosing the nuclear option means two more managerial vacancies are very likely in the coming days

Senegal not doing a great job at getting AFCON taken seriously.

he has time to develop sure. i just don't see anything elite about him.

i think he's yet another promising youth bought too early by a big club with insufficient development. just like Šeško, Højlund, João Félix, and many others

it didn't matter ultimately but Senegal's time wasting made their players go cold.

that wouldn't help the keeper or any subsequent efforts to score a last gasp equaliser.

i get the outrage though, that goal should have stood. the push on Hakimi was minimal.

this is good though, Senegal need to win

If i had to pick something that would make him stand out, other than the fact that his left foot is pretty good, I'd say I can see where you're coming from. He doesnt make mature decisions, his vision is good, but not elite. He's built decent, but he's not an athlete. His vision is solid, but not elite.

Fair point. Unlike Nico Paz who, his ball striking, his ball carrying/dribbling are elite.

Crazy ending, nearly turned it off when it looked like Senegal were not coming back after their storm off :)

Don’t really care who wins but did feel that the home advantage thing was going a bit far with some of those decisions.

That goal deserves to win it plus don’t want games and finals especially decided by pens.
