And...he's back after his momentary blip against Newcastle. Typical. Screenshot_2025-09-21-15-30-59-74_b783bf344239542886fee7b48fa4b892.jpg

Stat-padding fraud Harry Kane reaches 100 goals for Bayern in 104 games.

A record for them (faster than Lewa or Muller).

Also a record for the top 5 European leagues (was previously 105 games jointly held by Ronaldo and Haaland).

For sure some pens in there - he has set a record for that too (scored 17 consecutively).

    ;)

Joke penalty given to Liverpool in the last few minutes.

If VAR don't over rule this they should just take a walk....should take 10 seconds to overrule it....

Chelsea beat Liverpool with injury time goal.

Some of the universe karma starting to balance out I guess ;)

We will play them after they have lost 3 in a row. On the one hand they will be massively up for it at home, on the other they clearly have some issues at the moment.

    England

Back to back games now, killing it.

The likes of Bellingham, Palmer and Foden may not even make the WC squad at this rate.

    a couple of things:

    1. international football is dreadful outside of tournaments.

boring and dull, especially qualifiers. can't even stomach them for young talents i want to watch. no wonder they are looking to revamp them. they don't work for anyone. literally.

    2. Como vs AC Milan in Australia + Barcelona vs Villarreal in Miami. both of these are close to happening.

just one more thing to turn me off of football, and just when i started to watch and enjoy La Liga a bit more.

the Premier League is already boring enough outside of Bournemouth and Crystal Palace for me.

football in general is boring imo, the things that used to excite me basically don't happen anymore for various reasons, mostly money - promoted Kaiserslautern winning the league in 1998, Dynamo Kyiv making the UCL semis in 1999, Monaco's UCL runs in 03/04 & 16/17, Depor/Valencia winning La Liga.

even the young talents, i find very few of them truly exciting. a lot are interesting but that's about it.

    it all feels stagnant

Fifa just caved to Trump's desire to extort Cities out of hosting WC games. Cunts.

    1. Agreed. Been like that for a while with me. Still tune in sometimes, but yuck.

    2. Tell me what you hate about teams playing league games outside of their country? I do wish the league or the teams would pay for fans to fly with them, but that will never happen.

They said it's up to the US government which cities are safe to host WC26 games and they will defer to the US government on this. They issued a press release today.

    ostracizing local fans
breaking the fundamental home/away league system
even more unnecessary travel for players

and all that for what? to make not enough money to buy a good player anyway?

if you're going to do nonsense why not at least do the "post season" nonsense then and get multiple games in?

At the end of the day it's just greed. They already have loads of money and just want to milk some more. There's already post season and preseason tours and tournaments. Chatgpt tells me Federico Valverde played 80 games for club and country last season. That's ridiculous.

i don't get why some people are surprised by liverpool's struggles.

that much disruption to a team that was steady for what? 4 years? under Klopp was never going to be as trivial as pundits made it out to be.

of course they will adapt eventually but i won't mind if they don't.

Isak in particular can continue to fail after his shit behaviour

also, Konaté is quickly playing his way out of a move to Real Madrid.

Guéhi is easily the far more attractive option at the moment

i assume they are actually worried about relegation this season. i think the 2 year deal reflects that.

no one really believes they are a top 6 team. i'm not actually clear on where they belong in the table

I feel like they are good enough, they shouldnt have to worry about relegation. If this team gets relegated, it would have to be one of the most talented relegated teams outside of West Ham 2002
