He will cost fortunes. It wont be until next summer. Plenty of time for Amorim to evaluate and improve Hojlund Zirkzee Rashford.

Mings on his debut lol. Two Milanese masterclasses in a row. I'm sure both Baresi brothers were wiping tears from their eyes in sheer admiration.
I gotta say, Pep not having a single key piece and being unable to adjust to still win games is extremely unimpressive to me. Especially with the remainder of the squad being so talented.
Interestingly, Howard Webb will be doing the Mic'd up show with Michael Owen in a few days where he will criticise and offer a grovelling apology over David Coote and Michael Oliver for their collective eff up on giving West Ham a pen for Danny Ings diving over De Ligt leg to get West Ham the winner against us. A very suspicious decision widely derided by all including most ABU pundits. Though given Coote didn't give it but just caved to 'senior ref' Michael Oliver then Oliver probably more in the spotlight. Coote was also the guy who didn't send off Pickford for maiming Van Dijk. Even as a Liverpool hating fan that one was just plain weird. Any who eff them both (and the horse they rode in on).
i don't believe in these VAR conspiracies (incompetence for me) but that Coote video is the mentos in the coke for PGMOL. fans with conspiracy theories will think all refs think like that and feel vindicated, and why wouldn't they? last thing they needed. the only silver lining for the guy is he wasn't making fortunes from being a ref and can fall back on his main job
I believe in the VAR conspiracies, particularly the one about it deliberately cocking up games to distract us for more important things, like how will I put bread on the table for my 7 children? Will we have enough potatoes to last us during the coming nuclear holocaust?
this keeps getting better https://www.skysports.com/football/...ring-to-show-suspended-premier-league-referee loooooool
They showed the Mic'd Up program last night with Howard Webb. He wouldn't be drawn on the (original) Coote video - just said has been suspended, under investigation so will not comment. On the show they also showed the conversations between Coote and Oliver on pen given against De Ligt on Ings (which all media said was a joke penalty). Oliver says as soon as he has seen it that it is a penalty, when Coote goes to monitor he says a number of times to Oliver that Ings doesn't have control of the ball and is just knee on knee. Oliver agrees that Ings does not have control of the ball but stands his ground that it is a pen and Coote caves. Also only showed him one angle despite him asking for others. So given all the football pundits from bbc, sky etc. were all in immediate agreement it was not a penalty, is pretty telling that our most senior ref (Oliver) plus VAR assistant and Coote all (eventually) agreed it was. Webb just calls it a 'misread' by a VAR who is 'really talented and reliable'. Says in explanation Oliver got 'uber focussed on De Ligt leg' (ie ignored all other factors). Didn't think it could go much lower, but state and reputation of our refs in England is just in the toilet.
i am not bothered by the West Ham call because the team played poorly and it wasn't going to save ten Hag. i am very interested in this situation though. in 24 hours the guy went from being a Klopp hater to a potential cokehead. there's that and i want to see the next reaction to a game changing call or major error. probably gonna have to revise the day job comment for him now lol. i'm not sure he'd survive this even if he worked in the chicken factory
Disagree - the Bruno red card and the De Ligt penalty would be interesting to me regardless the team involved. Reason being that they were not individual mistakes - Bruno one was assistant ref, ref, var and assistant var all getting it wrong. De Ligt one was ref getting it right, then var, assistant var then ref getting it wrong. That is 7 officials all getting it wrong and with a screen and many replays to help them. That is the poor level of officiating in this country. Coote is just one individual who did some really stupid on camera stuff and needs better friends. They are related in that officials would deserve and maybe get some more sympathy and less claims of bias (as people make mistakes) if they were actually competent at their jobs.
Anyone see the Lyon ruling? Relegated unless they can clear an outstanding amount by the end of the season. Ligue 1 really trying to turn it into the Monsato of farmers leagues after it ********ed up that TV deal.
Bruuuunoooo Classic strike by him for Portugal, cracking in off the underside of the bar from 24 yards out. Hopefully he's back and ready
Ronaldo's will, hunger n determination is elite. Sadly we don't see this much in current set of world players. Truly last of stars, him n messi are on diff level of greatness.
