West Ham have agreed a £35m fee for Todibo as well. thought he'd be a good fit but that's one downside of INEOS i suppose. https://www.skysports.com/football/...-defender-who-was-man-utd-and-juventus-target oh and Newcastle have had a second bid of £50m declined for Guéhi in today's transfer round up https://www.skysports.com/football/...cond-bid-rejected-for-crystal-palace-defender
Solanke is the next Saldado imo target striker who looks good at a shit team because literally everything goes through them and they play vs sides with a higher line it’s always the way, much easier to score goals for a worse side when they are constantly hoofing it into the box, crossing 20 times a game etc
https://www.skysports.com/football/...gn-portuguese-winger-also-wanted-by-tottenham i don't get this. good pick up but their squad size is almost 50. unless they plan to compete in La Liga too
the strange thing is what i said when they started doing this still applies as far as i can tell - there still isn't a definitively elite player in that squad. maybe Palmer? i'm also wondering if Lukaku counts as homegrown despite leaving and coming back?
i don't care who wins but i'm really looking at this game for prospects. i quite like the French LB, the #3, good change of pace and puts in some wicked crosses
How can anyone compete if Chelsea have all the players? Fcuk knows how they will get all of them game time
imo they don't actually have (m)any of the good ones. a lot of bodies though. i assume all on significant wages as well
https://www.skysports.com/football/...g-of-nice-defender-on-loan-with-option-to-buy maybe there is hope yet?
Interesting article from the beeb on Chelsea. Given the dodgy sounding selling hotels back to themselves, feels like the most crucial player at any club soon could be the rule dodging accountants … Twelve signings, £243m spent - what is going on at Chelsea? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cy4yg422zjpo
lol in January would be crazy lmao. But hell yeah. I wouldnt be surprised if there are some agreements from West Ham to let him go ASAP. Them maybe we give them Maguire [not likely]
Apparently Chelsea is now looking at taking Felix from Athletico, and the Gallagher deal was meant to be a swap but the deal for Omorodion collapsed. Feels like 2 teams doing fishy deals for FFP but then again, I cannot really understand what Chelsea is trying to do. If they were stockpiling youth at ok prices that would make sense. Some make it and hopefully the others you sell at a profit. But they are buying older players (still young, but in the 20s) at high prices
