this deal is so dumb that Middlesbrough are going to make ~£35m from it. if Anderson and Rogers are £115m+ then i must be at least £30m myself
Xabi Alonso is likely to play his usual 343/3421. They have the perfect set up for both. Also good for Estevao is played mostly 10 or off the striker at Palmieras. Geovanni Quenda can compete with Gusto for RWB.
We had an excellent transfer window last year, now everyone AVG Joe is 115+ million Chelsea fans laughed at us last summer saying we overpaid for Cunha (£62m) and Mbeumo (£70m)..Now they've gone and paid £117m for Morgan Rogers. 😭😭 pic.twitter.com/rOpjarJg9w— UF (@UtdFaithfuls) July 18, 2026
So, is Rodri officially back? New manager, but I can't help but feel annoyed at his resurgence. Considering, I assume City will have the most likely shot at the league this season, even with the new manager. I also hate admitting that I'm envious of them having him. Would love us to sign THAT midfielder this window.
RIP Kevin Keegan https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/c2lyl82n2e2o He was a great player in his day even though he played for Liverpool and later won the Balon D'or twice with Hamburg. And of course his stint at Newcastle as manager. His team were a joy to watch and I think that spurred on Ferguson to make some changes.
Paredes post-game red card that was reported on by everyone (ie ref gave him red card for post match throat grabbing etc) as it was logged on FIFAs commentator information system ….. has mysteriously been deleted and he now has no red card …
https://www.skysports.com/football/...have-lb85m-bid-rejected-for-rb-leipzig-winger probably yet another £100m transfer this window
I could be wrong, but Madrid havent been flexing much financially compared to previous years. Btw now and 2020, theyve only spent over £100 mil twice. Considering how much success they had, i had been surprised. I may be missing something.
this is true. imo there haven't been (m)any players worth that kind of outlay anyway so i am not surprised
