I think Senesi is average in the sense he doesn't really have any spikes in his game.

For all their issues, at least Martinez, MdL and Maguire do have genuine spikes in specific areas. Enough to put them near the top positionally in those areas.

    Agree, time will tell though.

so much for liverpool sticking by their managers.

i'd have sacked him too. there were no signs of improvement and if he lost the faith of the players it was untenable regardless

many people had this as a done deal but this is the same PSG that didn't show up at all in that recent final with chelsea.

this situation is annoying because i don't want either to win but begrudgingly this is the right result at the moment

iregardless of the score - this is why the Premier League bores me these days.

Results without the excitement in the build up mean nothing - this match is beyond forgettable. And Arsenal's entire campaign has been that way, nothing to remember being exciting.

Doubt Arsenal would care tbh. Wouldn't be the first boring UCL final and it won't be the last.

Ref has had a mixed performance tonight

Winners wouldn't care no - but it's just a sad thing for football.

I still love Euro 2004 more as a Portugal fan than 2016 because the lead up was great.
It's why we all love 99, not just for the win but the Juve and Inter matches along the way.

He's the case in point example of "don't play someone who's just declared themselves it"

A lesser player at 100% is always better than a top player at 50%

That 98/99 UCL season is unmatched. Football hit different back then.

EDIT: Arsenal seriously lacking quality. Looking nervy in the final third

They don't want to commit do they.

TNT's commentary has been the most 'well they're British so they're the good guys' ever.

I think he’s been fine. Also, I’m not really sure what’s to complain about. This is infinitely better than it being done in the first half like last year.
