I've got Kewell on my fantasy team.... The ref bottles a call... Liverpool should have had a penalty after Sinama Pongolle was knocked off the ball in the box. Obviously he thinks he is at Old Trafford and cannot award penalties against Man U. 80'th min, 1-2 liverpool look REALLY good as man u have lost all composure.

Of course. Howard again forced to come out and does well to force Liverpool player out wide and then get back into his goal. Game is going to fast for me to keep up -- Howard with a shakey clearance but isn't punished. Shot went over Howard's goal. Liverpool player got in on goal but great last minute boot in by Rio saves a great chace for Liverpool. Heskey gets a free header in the box but goes slightly too high. Fortune off -- Fletcher on. ManU's composure has been in the toilet for the last few minutes.

Announcers agree with you, but I still haven't seen what took him down -- a push in the back? Looked to me like he may have gone down on his own.
Okay - I rewound and it does look like Rio probably knocked him down, but hard call for the ref to make at full speed. Howard made a very poor clearance earlier to a ManU player with a Liverpool player standing next to him -- he should have just knocked it up field, but is lucky not to be punished for it.

Final: Liverpool 1-2 Man U Anfield hasn't been really nice to liverpool this season. Liverpool 1-2 Chelsea Liverpool 1-2 Arsenal Liverpool 1-2 Man U They have deserved at least a point from all 3 matches. If the ref would have called the penalty correctly... who knows what would have happened? Howard did look a bit shakey at the end, but still better than Barthez ever was.
Heskey fell victim to poor footing (that, and he is pretty much crap). Howard and Man U were fortunate there.
2 or 3 blunders by Howard. His worst performance for United by far. However, only gave up 1 goal and his team won the game. Not bad really.
Yep -- They'll need to, to catch up with Giggs' day. I didn't think Howard looked so bad today - what other blunders besides the weird pass to Liverpool?

What was worst was the commentary afterwards by Sky - saying that it was a good call. I agree with it being a tough call, but seeing the replay, as they did, it's obvious it was wrong. And Heskey... my God, what a ridiculous slip.
