No question it was a PK.

It was unintentional, back to the play and the reason no additional card was given.

But it was a correct PK call.

The DC player was unlucky because the ball hit his hand.

That was a def. handball, and the first one probably was as well but wasn't shown.

Dema and Nelsen are big parts of DC. The strengthen the core of the team a lot. You guys should continue going up DC's right wing, Stewart sucks big time. He's barely seen the ball in teh last 20-25 minutes of the match.

Gritty performance from you guys though

...this game would have been at home.

Let it go Frank, none of that matters now. Let's just keeping rooting they win and get a chance to bring the trophy home.

I’m pretty much a lurker here, I don’t post very often because I fully admit my soccer knowledege is very limited. I never played soccer, but after studying in Europe I fell in love with the sport as a spectator, and it’s a few years now, and I would like to think that after these years I have a bit of a handle on the sport, but then I read analyses by people like Magpie, and my head just spins.

So my expert opinion on the first half is this:

Soccer is a boring sport for girls.

    COME ON REVS!!!

If Reis were taller he could audition for the Lerch role in the next Addams Family remake with that look.

Somebody mind telling me how we're 2-2? Revs gritty yes, but.. gritty only gets you so far..

GotY candidate from Esky to start, but we're level, and 45 minutes to show we belong in next week's game

Great half of playoff soccer. All in all the Revs have had the better of the run of play but they have gotten hurt by mistakes in their own 1/3---again. This is why I love this game :p

    LETS GO REVS

    Three questions:

How has Jay Heaps avoided the A-league?

What caused Avery John to become so crappy the last two months?

Is there any team in this league who has ever had a greater gap in talent between its defenders and the rest of its field players? Rusty Pierce is light years ahead of the next best defender.

My god, if the Revs had a defense to go with that loaded midfield and strike tandem they'd be mighty tough.

Though they could use a midfielder with a left foot. Trade for Freddy! :)

He played the ball with his hand Frank, no matter if his back was to the play. Watch the replay when they show it.

United coming out much like they did in the first-half: pressing the play and being quick to the ball. Revs look the same as well...

I saw it. It was ball to hand, not hand to ball. There did not appear anything intentional about it, but it is a penalty nevertheless.

Punctuation, Steve. It's a new invention, so you may not have heard of it.

With the way United's playing on defense, I'd really like to see Dorman get some better minutes tonight: I think he'd be quite effective, and a handful for Hendrickson.

Nicol whinging at halftime about the early call on Joseph, followed by Lalas saying a card is card no matter when it happens. Lalas is correct and there is nothing Nicol can do about the call, correct that it was, so get on with it.

Revolution are looking a little less composed in the back. United with better pressure over last few minutes. Revs defenders giving up a bit too much space.
