Berhalter projected to start in CD, as usual.
Cottbus could really use a win at home to climb away from the BL.2 relegation zone. Right now they are only above the line on goal differential.

Forgot the [R] in the thread title, although I think it's implied.
If a mod sees this, can you add the [R]? Thanks!

It is also the first game for Cottbus in 10.5 years without Eduard Geyer as coach.

ps what does the [R] mean? Sorry for my ignorance.

An [R] in the thread title alerts the reader that game results will be revealed in the thread. Therefore, if for some reason you don't want to know who wins, avoid the thread.

    It's for TV games, really.

But as many a coach has said, practice doesn't make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect.

Cottbus lost 2-0 despite controlling much of the game. The first Burghausen goal probably should have been disallowed due to interference with the goalie, and the second came on a counter combined with a mistake when Cottbus was pushing forward for the draw. Berhalter with the captain's armband was solid as ever.
