FWIW, Gooch went 90 as his team lost 4-1 and slid to 7th place.

Maybe it was the hangover from the UEFA cup victory midweek?

As important as the UEFA cup this yr, i really want Standard to qualify to Champions league next year. They're now 8 pts behind Anderlecht for 2nd place and automatic qualification to CL (i think).

That was a nightmare tonight.... Gooch had a hard time controlling his right defence, he's not ready yet to take the lead when Eric Deflandre is not playing.

The whole team was bad, check-out later www.yanks-abroad.com for the press box report.
