1-1 at the half according to livescore.

I don't know who scored, cause I can't get those pop-ups from livescore.

    Thanks,

Is there a way to know if Cooper is on the bench?

Cooper was listed as a substitute at the beginning of the game. You can follow it in Portuguese at this matchtracker:

2-1 Penafiel in 66' after Wesley converts a PK. Academica's Dionattan received a yellow card for the preceding foul on Clayton.

    68'

    3-1 Penafiel

Roberto scores with a header after (I think) Pedro Roma, Academica's keeper, parries a shot from Edgar Marcelino.

    71'

Academica makes its first substitution. Joeano on for Dionattan.

78' still 3-1. Academica makes its 2nd sub, bringing on Nuno Piloto for the goalscorer, Rafael Gaucho.

83' No playing time for Kenny Cooper this weekend as Academica makes its 3rd sub, bringing on Tixier for Ricardo Fernandes. Gotta be disappointing as these must have all been offensive-minded substitutions and KC was left out.

    Still 3-1

Is it me, or has the kid gone from getting some minutes and a couple of starts to being buried. Haven't followed that closely, but he doesn't even seem to play anymore.
I remember one cameo 10 minute appearnance in the last three. Too bad.

Has to take this as a learning experience and let's hope he can get back to England ASAP.

    3-1. FINAL

KC does seem to be getting fewer opportunities now than earlier. I think at least one Academica veteran came back from injury during that time and may have pushed him further down the bench. He's just turned 20 so hopefully his disappointment will be only temporary.

closest Cooper got to the field was a 30 minute warm-up...he hasn't played in the last two games....some people are of the opinion he would work very well in tandem with Dario...sort of the big man little man combo...so far the coach doesn't agree and Academica continue to languise near the bottom. As their next to games are both difficult one wonders how much longer the coach will stay with a line-up that obviously isn't working.

What are you talking about... they can't let him go on a free transfer... he's only on loan!

    :D

If someone makes that Tshirt - would Convey be on the back?

Actually, it's kind of like a y2k thing. Revelling in past Angle glory has slightly less than a 4 decade shelf life. Anyone caught looking that far in the past gets an automatic handle makeover. Just be happy you didn't get renamed France98.

big soccer has been having all sorts of problems lately... likely they are database problems. i would try starting a thread about it here. with any luck, jesse will be able to fix it.

And if you're anything like Cooper, you'd have missed (rimshot, baby!)

Sorry, couldn't resist. Nothing personal to Ken, just a sucker for an old, smelly punch line.

I have no doubt. Just damn slow around these boards. DMB is running roughshod through the middle-lower reaches of ered - again. JOB is still hurt. Cherundolo is still boringly solid (but who the hell would've picked Hannover to get this high in the tables.) Howard and Spector still sidelined. It's about time for Cooper to explode out of the box and liven things up a little!
