Rosenborg must win to keep alive any hope of staying in European (UEFA Cup) competition this season. Russell will be on the bench to start.
rbk.com does indeed have RR starting on the bench. If true he is obviously bothered enough by the knee that surgery most likely will happen sooner rather than later. get it over with, RR
Peter Philipakos plays for Olympiakos. He was not on their CL roster yesterday. No idea whether he is still hurt or not.
Yes, Philipakos is still unavailable through injury, as he continues to recover from surgery. His return is fast approaching, though, as his first full practice with the team is scheduled for Monday (November 29).
The game is a hoot, just like you dreamed it would be when you were a kid. crowd is cheering everytime someone goes sliding through the mud, balls on teh ground are traveling about six inches. Not weather for a man on a bad knee, btw.
and Pao goes up, straight down the left-middle, low, hard, near post, simply too fast for the keeper, 0-1
Final score: 2 - 2 (2x Helstad for RBK (sub) almost made it a hat-trick in less then 30 min) All the players was brown from all the mud, and it didn't snow today, that someone said, but it RAINED! ALOT! The Greeks were sliding 10 min every time they tried to stop!! It was funny as he|| But unfortunately, so did the RBK-players.. Even though we're more used to the conditions!
Ya, doesn't it always rain on the west coast at this time? Sort of like England Junior? My dad served off the east coast which was c-c-c-c-c-c-cold.
can't really classify Trondheim as west coast (and I assume you meant west coast?) They get snow. It was supossed to warm up a tad country wide and rain was in the forecast, but we got more snow in Oslo, uggghhh, others weren't as "lucky" it seems. The field up there looked terrible.
You got it all wrong, it's horrible when it is snowing for a couple of days, and then ALL this rain! It's like a river in the city, with snow and rain all over the place!! The field looked horrible! It really bugged me that they didn't take the plastic thingy over the field before the match.. They should have played the match at the training field behind the stadium maybe
ok you silly popsickle head, that is why I put it in quotes! some might think it lucky to only get rain. Getting rain after snow is obviously the worst, mud and muck everywhere. Trust me, even though I'd rather be chilling under the palm trees back home, I still rather it just stay cold once winter comes. Walking to and fro work in the mud is fun, fun, fun! So I think we are on the same page here. I think there is a recap of the match floating around the net...
Hehe.. good! We're for sure on the same page.. And I need to learn how to read posts properly... Hehe Snow in Oslo? D@mn, I hate the west coast...!!
No, it's not along the west coast.. I live on the west coast, and Trondheim is 10 hours by car from here! It's in the north, but not in the waaay north like Tromsø! It's kind of "in the north of central norway".. http://www.lonelyplanet.com/mapshells/europe/norway/norway.htm
I was just excited to see that news of Russell's (supposed) availability made the Eurosport News ticker!
