Someone remind me again on the policy of commenting on other ongoing games. Allowed or not?

It is allowed - in here at least.

By all accounts from the commentators that was a fist half to quickly forget as "dire', 'dreadful' and such comments were made at the half.

Robben is off in the second and Duffer is on.

    Drogba is warming up.
    ...oh...yeah...Kezman still hasn't scored....

Anybody standing out for Chelsea, or even PSG?

According to the commentators Smertin is our best player on the night.

Drogba was put through one on one with the keeper by Gudjohnson - fluffed it....

Might come back to haunt them in their final 1st round match.

Looking ahead, I don't like the looks of the non-English teams currently in 2nd place in their group:

    Monaco
    Real Madrid/ Bayer Leverkusen
    Lyon
    Bayern Munich
    Barcelona
    Werder Bremen

Too many big names there, with the possibility of both Milan and Inter finishing 2nd in their groups too.

    Mourinho says the same thing.

'So you know what our chances are? Bayern Munich, Barcelona, and maybe Real Madrid. I thought about it.

'We would not be in a draw with seven teams, but with about three or four teams, maybe Werder Bremen also involved and it is not easy because they are champions in Germany.'

    Interesting indeed.

Well that was very disapointing, especially after Saturday. Those 2nd place clubs look quite usefull. Barcelona would be one to avoid.

Well roll on Charlton, can't be as bad as the Boxing day I spent over there last year. Can it?

Well, then my question to you is what are our chances against these teams? Perhaps that should be another thread in the future, but I would like your quick opinion on facin 1 of those 4 clubs.

It would be bad luck to draw barca in the next round .Although chelsea's style of play might be successful against them .
