yea I've been a haydur but he's the sort of guy that the USMNT used to have in abundance. Tough, puts in a good shift, works, not the most skilled but fairly athletic and doesn't back down.

Since Honduras is the #2 seed, that should mean that they host the semifinal, right? And if Mexico and the U.S. make the final, the Mexico will host as the #1 seed, right? Nations League will be more interesting if the U.S. has to win 2 road matches to win the trophy. Hopefully the matches aren't just scheduled in the U.S.
It'll all be at one, maybe two sites, almost certainly somewhere in the US. Similar to what UEFA did this spring, minus being able to actually win hosting rights.
Concacaf is so bad. Cuba, as poor as they are, is nowhere near the weakest team. There are all those picture postcard Windward and Leeward Islands minnows.

Ream has experience and good personal leadership qualities. I hear you if you’d prefer someone else, but with this XI, he’s one of the better choices. i won’t defend the eleven, though. Lovitz is by so far the worst on this squad I can’t even be bothered to be sad about Roldan starting.
No doubt Morris has improved. Due to his technical flaws he'll never be a top player, but credit to him for at least being able to use his left at all, and his tactical sense has also improved.

I'm baffled. Two of those guys aren't eligible yet. Three of them have shown no interest in the US. The rest, I mean, I'm pretty sure that team, after forfeiting and figuring out how to fill in those five players, would struggle to compete with adults. Also, you know, you'd have had to have these guys on roster versus Canada since I believe you assign a 23 man for the window?
