Thanks Kansas City Star for printing an informative article on a day your team is going for a championship. What a way to sell your local team and drum up support, eh? How about putting some words about Arnaud or Oshonayi (sp?) instead of this drivel? I would like to slap the moron who wrote that crap.

And yes, this idiot should be talking to diehard fans of Premiership teams like me.

This interview mentions that Cheyo Quintanilla would become the fourth Salvadoran to be on an MLS champion (along with Diaz Arce, Cienfuegos, and Cerritos).

I couldn't think of another foreign nationality that's won that many, although at least three Canadians have (Onstad, DeRo, Aunger). Curiously, there's never been a single Colombian title-winner.

I posted this in yesterday's thread, but Leweike says that Sampson's coming back for the Galaxy next season.

He also states that he feels that the Galaxy has the potential to be the top team in LA in 10 years. I agree, although I'd project 15 years as more realistic. The Lakers are extremely popular, but can they sustain their uber-star status for 10 years? Btw Magic and Shaq/Kobe, they really sunk in prestige. That slide coincided w/ a Dodger drought.

Leiweke hints at bringing in h-uge domestic talent to try and pump up the club. It looks like AEG really wants LA to be a juggernaut.

Also, when did Glasgow get moved to Ireland?
