Businessweek has a two page article about MLS. It is entitled "Soccer: Time to Kick it Up a Notch." by Stanely Holmes. Nov. 22, 2004 issue. Pretty good article about how MLS has turned the corner and is here to stay. It also has advice for the league as well.

Moving Toward a United State, LA Times Pretty good article; interview w/ AEG's Lieweke. He pretty much states the Sampson is coming back next year...
Leiweke article. He also states that he feels that the Galaxy has the potential to be the top team in LA in 10 years. I agree, although I'd project 15 years as more realistic. The Lakers are extremely popular, but can they sustain their uber-star status for 10 years? Btw Magic and Shaq/Kobe, they really sunk in prestige. That slide coincided w/ a Dodger drought. Leiwke hints at bringing in h-uge domestic talent to try and pump up the club. It looks like AEG really wants LA to be a juggernaut.
