Colorado up 1 - 0 over Real España.

Well, Espana got the equalizer they deserve late. And really bossed almost the entire game.

Colorado has 4 points, but I'm not convinced they'll come out of this group. Espana hasn't played Metapan, and Colorado hasn't played Santos.

It could've easily been 4-0 or more the goalie was really good, wow Mexican teams are really bad this year, it clearly shows playing reserves doesn't mean winning anymore. I think Metapan has a good chance to qualify, it outplayed Colorado, Santos, the favorites on this group.

Although it makes it more difficult for the Rapids to advance, I am happy to see Metapan do well. They deserved better from the game in Colorado. And in front of what looked to be a good home crowd, they really took it to Santos last night. The next game at San Pedro Sula is going to be massive for both sides.

 

Agree also that Metapan deserved better in Denver. Did Santos play mostly reserves last night? Anyway, it is a step up when Mexican teams can't just trot out the 2nd team and get through group anymore.

I feel bad for Central American people in the States, it looks like the Real España - Metapan will not be shown on American TV.

While I want Santos to crush Colorado's spirit like a roach, that goal seemed miles offside not just once, but twice.
