A good night of high pressure football in Mexico City's altitude, Cacho & Fuentes converting efficiently, Bravo & Cortes beating their markers enough times.... is all it takes to change the course of this knock out pairing pretty quickly.

 

I admit Montegay has everything going for it now & Pumas are a substantial underdog... but the series has to be played on the field not on paper.

in the last years or @ least decade Pumas have play the role of underdog and even if they play bad on the league when it came to playoffs they pull it out really good, its like they wait to the and to play well so i hope Monterrey dont take it lightly and play with all his arsenal and trie to secure the game in Monterrey...

Los goles supieron a pura machaca y cabrito... I like this Monterrey with many regios in it I hope Tigres could do the same, but they have many yanks and stuff in their youth teams... :/

 

As an UNAM fan... I can tell you the series is over... even if Pumas plays particularly well... given the current talent & form differential (particularly considering the UNAM players involved in U-23 Qualifying)... we might aspire to a 2 goal victory in D.F. but nothing more... and even at that I would say that Montegay is the favorite in the return match as well.
