Who did we lose to in the infamious 101 minute game this season?

If it was against Columbus the extra two points they picked up and the point we lost will be a major factor in the final standings. This is a lesson in just how important those kind of blown calls can be at the end of the season.

It was Columbus. Edson Buddle scored the winner in over-overtime.

OK, we have to stop complaining about this. By no stretch of the imagination was it a "blown call". The referee controls the time during overtime just the same way they do during regulation time, and can and should add extra time for stoppages. You can no more stop playing and act agrieved after 5:00 or 10:00 than you can after 45:00 or 90:00. The whistle is law, the scoreboard is irrelevant.

The Revs got spanked frequently in the first 3/4 of the season for a variety of reasons. Any one of those games could have been huge - in retrospect.

It's all water under the bridge now. If they can do the job on Saturday, nothing else matters.
