100 greatest

    everyone who has been watching british TV recently or has ever seen VH1 in the UK will have heard of the insane amount of 100 greatest programs on. Well heres a web version for the beutiful game
    I want your top 10 players of all time, This can be based on impact (ie a player who makes a club great single handedly), skill (pele nuff said), achievements (Kahn for getting germany to WC 2002 final). There are many ways to define the worlds greatest player,
    this post will be going up accross the boards.
    I want your top 10 on a private message, when the votes are in i will post every player who has been voted for and there tally's after the 100 list has gone up.

    cant believe you missed out what most people are saying the third best player ever to play the game....EUSEBIO, the black panther, leading goal scorer in the 66 world cup....

    I guarentee you those putting Maradona above Pele are those who are from the younger bunch who grew up on Maradona as nobody who saw both ( a few clips doesn't count ) would give it a second thought and would name Pele instantly.
    Unless there is a bias from nationality or something.
    It's no contest. Not even close. Not worth even talking about.

    Friedel top 10 ever? You have to be Freaking kidding me!!!

    I refuse to read the rest of this thread because of such an idiotic opinion. Friedel is a good goalie but to claim that he is in the top 10 players of all time is to show your lack of knowlegde of the game.

    Freidel probably wouldnt be in the top 1000!
