Pippo just can't do no wrong. 15 goals in 9 games now. Wow. And he wasn't supposed to play today. MILAN can't be stopped now!!! :)

Impressive result. Inzaghi is having a great little run here. Are you worried any if he goes down with injury or loses form?

he has been playing injured (plantar fascitis)...
couldn't train the last couple of weeks,so a decrease in form is expected anytime now; to rest the foot, maybe he won't join the national team playing vs. Yugoslavia and Wales

I'm worried that Inzaghi could get injured but not too much. Rivaldo hasn't hit anywhere near top form and we have a certain Andriy Shevchenko coming back withing weeks. The types of goals Inzaghi has scored haven't been neccesarrily brilliant either, so it isn't as if another player wouldn't be scoring with Seedorf and Rui Costa in this kind of form providing for them. Inzaghi's greatest contribution is his tenacity and determination, which sees him score lots of cheap goals. Shevchenko is just a monster, period, and with him up top Milan are much more dangerous as they have a player who can score in many more ways than Pippo.

i don't know; scoring is a state of mind ( :p ) and Pippo has the right mindset right now; actually i'm wondering where would Milan be without him,not the other way around

If it was Sheva in Inzaghi's role I don't think Milan would be any different. In fact I think they would be better. Sheva has been playing too deep in midfield the last two years because Inzaghi and Bierhoff are target men who don't track back the way Sheva does. Yet he he still scores more goals than anyone on Milan. If he was given Inzaghi's role I think he could score even more goals than Pippo does. Plus he sets up alot of goals, so once he gets back Milan will be unstoppable with or without Pippo.
