    First thought on the game.
Perhaps Glen Johnson will get another start as Ferriera started last night.
Another ideal game for the youngster to show his stuff, no disrespect to the baggies, but the likes of ferriera could be spared for this one to make room for the still learning Johnson.
Besides, it's not like the drop off in talent is measurable in any significant degree!
    imho.

I like Johnson, he looks like he is working hard and at the same time, he wants to improve. However, i think he still feels uncomfortable around midfield and still gets a little confused on his role. Against Blackburn, i saw him running upand down chasing the ball, where he could have been a little smarter and save his energy. But his future looks bright.
    Prediction: Chelsea wins 3:1

well, Mourinho had the same criticism for Glen as he did for Joe Cole, basically that he neglects his defensive duties.

    ...i'll post again later...

    o.k. here's what i'd like to see:

    -------Cech---------
    Johnson-Gallas-Terry-Bridge
    ----Smertin-Maka-Lamps----
    -------Robben--Duff---------
    ------------Eidur-------------

there's nothing wrong with insanely attacking football :D

though it's a shame there's no place for Kezza. i'm sure we'll see him at some point in the match.

The Chelsea squad for the game is:

Cech, Cudicini, Ferreira, Johnson, Gallas, Carvalho, Terry, Bridge, Makelele, Parker, Tiago, Smertin, Lampard, Cole, Duff, Robben, Kezman, Gudjohnsen.

No Geremi, Drogba, Babayaro, or Huth. That leaves 18 so two won't make the bench. My guess is Johnson and Tiago.

Anyone have a free audio link for me today? I gave up my Chelsea TV subscription and this is the first time I'm trying to get a live audio feed. Any help appreciated.

If you have Yahoo downloaded to your computer i can give you one MST.

You'll be unable to hear the audio on the link without it.

If you download Yahoo messaging, you're set.
Each and every game is broadcast by somebody in England.
Cool site - and FREE. (for now anyway)

Yeah, thats a major snag, limited space.
I logged into the site about an hour ago and just left the window open as this happens every week.
Sometimes the set up another room, other times they don't.

    Let the moaning begin :p

Why, oh why, does he have Tiago on the bench instead of Johnson?

Too be expected that innit Dr I.
All hustle and bustle from them for the first 15 - then we'll take over.
If we can score one without reply in the first half i think we'll come out 3 nil winners.

To be fair, their boys will be playing their skins off to earn a place under the caretaker/new manager. We can't afford any lapses and need to put one past them in the first 45 to open it up a bit.

Baggies up for this one - oot shooting us 5-2 so far.
Not the typical 'bunker ball' we've faced too date.

Cole having a good game so far they're saying and Duff is skinning them down the wing.

Uugg...fantasy team Captain takes a hit.
Arsenal get a penalty - Henry misses, hitting the post.

Since I can't get to the Yahoo match (i'll do better next time), do you have any links to general EPL commentary?

Never mind, I got in although the quality is crap.

Clan - Is there any possibility of getting logged out of the chat if I leave it open but am inactive? I was getting logged out when I wasn't included in the audio, so I don't want to lose it now that I've got it.

    Yaeh, you might.
It happens, although it has nothing to do with being inactive.
