As many matches are tape delayed in the States, among other places, and some people try to come to BS to see only selected results, the protocol is to only list the result of the specific game in the (R) thread - especially on game day. It gets a bit silly at times, but the odd time you're the guy going to catch the tape delay but still dumb/impatient enough to want to check other results, and you expect a "result free environment" it can be annoying.

Please don't quote spoilers - it makes it difficult to clean up - and the guy fixed his post.

If you want to post a spoiler, just use the spoiler tags (ManU and Arsenal results):

[result]ManU and Arsenal are down late -- Carroll scored on twice, once a penalty.[/result]

[result]Spoke too soon on Arsenal's game. They tie it up late with a Robin Van Persie goal in the 90th minute.
    It finished 2-2.[/result]

Well a great win for Fulham. Fulham needed this win and after they won against Boston they won against Southampton after they beat Birmingham they beat Tottenham. So if every week they could have a League Cup match that would be great. Fulham play Newcastle next whihc will be a tough match to win.

im really starting to worry about bmb here, he didnt score in the 5 matches ashley cole missed and hasnt scored in the epl all year iirc. He got the one against boston united, but so did 5 other fulham players. Will fulham and bmb agree to let him go on a free during the winter break? is he there for the full season? Also i seem to remember part of his decision for going across the pond was for the cash. I think he said something to the effect of how he would really enjoy the cash cow at the end of his career. However, as far as his nats game, it cant improve by not playing (can it?)

It's Andy Cole. Ashley plays for Arsenal (no relation).

Fulham don't have too many attacking options, and aren't likely to spend come January. Therefore, BMB will likely be coming off the bench and occasionally starting and I don't think he'll be released from his contract.

IMHO, McBride will only participate in the next WC as a late game sub anyway. So they fact that he plays that role with Fulham at this point doesn't bother me much.

Just a guess, but I doubt Fulham would let him go on a free because he is doing the job they want him to do. He seems to have done OK with his sub appearances and they do not expect him to be a starter. He will get a couple of goals before the season is over.

Fulham have 4 forwards so they probably wont let him go.He is just above Radz on the forwards list at the very least the same as Radz. Now Fulham might go out and buy some players in January like they did last year but, even if they do it will probably be for Defenders. Mcbride is a good player he will get 3-7 goals this year maybe more maybe less.

McBride got a "6" from the Sun for the Liverpool game. That would not qualify him as a failure.

A clean sheet for Fulham ... in other news, the sun stood still.

BTW - did Boca play left or middle?

    Boca played on the left.

McBride does not really compete with Radz. He or Cole play up top, with Radz or John on the right (Boa Morte on the left). The system could change but for right now, BMB only gets time at the expense of Andy Cole, is a better player and is playing better.
