I still think that a 30 or 35 k stadium should be the league,s goal with the new teams , a 20k stadium sounds too small. I hope the new stadiums are modeled after the HD stadium in Carson.....

Democratic split shakes up Harrison council elections - Jersey Journal

Seems the Harrison stadium is a hot topic in local elections:

That depends on the market. A 20,000 seat stadium in DC or New Jersey would be too small, but a 30,000 seat stadtium in KC or Dallas would be too large.

seems everything runs through 2005. which kind of scares me.

why only a 2 year extension...why not 5? it seems that the investors are setting everything up so if/when they pull the plug, there will be no loose ends...

2006 is a World Cup year. I'm sure World Cup and MLS sponsorships will be sold as a package.

One more note: In Pepsi's case, Coke is a FIFA sponsor, so MLS may be trying to rachet up a bidding war between the two.

Wolff's contract goes thru 2006 season... His was the first deal that MLS had made (i think) that goes past 2005.. I am still suspicious, even with the 2006 WC stuff, with MLS not making many commitments past 2005..

If anyone on here can refresh my memory, I hope i am mistaken..

That's a two year extension on their deal they already had, correct? It was set to expire at the end of this season, if i am not mistaken.
