Milan is resting alot of players and I don't expect them to win this game, a draw at best. This game is really important to Lens, a win and a Deportivo loss would vault them into second place in the group.

It's 2-1 Lens in the 59th minute. Goal by Utaka on a giveaway by Helveg.

Tomasson apparently enters the book - sounds like a handball on a cross from Helveg

2-1 final to Lens. The matchtracker on Milan's website is good for the bare essentials -- can anyone comment on the match? Tough to analyze things without seeing the game :)

Weird feeling - I was very happy even though we lost!

With very much a "B" side, we totally controlled the first half and really should have led at the break.

Changes were made in the second - they scored from defensive blunders but overall they are not a bad side, had to win and gave there all. They were somewhat fortunate to get the 3 points.

Milan on the other hand not only fielded a B team, but many of them were desparate for mach time and were underdone and obviously the 3 points were not needed.

    This squad has great depth.

Lets just make sure we have no more hiccups in Serie A like last week!

From all accounts I've read, it sounds like Sheva is in good health. As I did not see the game, I can only guess the sub was made to give Borriello some playing time.

Rossonero, did anyone in particular impress you? It sounded like Dalla Bona had a good game

Here are the match highlights from UEFA:
    High Speed

    Low Speed

The second Lens goal was a comedy of errors by the Milan defense(especially Helveg) which puts the mistakes made against Chievo to shame.

I can only assume with Sheva playing great in the first half and then Carlo resting him in the second half that means that Sheva will be starting against Reggina. But Rivaldo has already said he will be ready to start against Reggina and Pippo will play as well. I think the headaches start now for our Carlito.

I can see both Rivaldo and Shev on the pitch at the same time. I think it means that Pirlo won't be though.
