Reus had Reyna for a pretty easy goal but tried to do it himself. To his credit, he seemed to realize his folly afterward.
Sure the defending sucks and they are not at their sharpest, etc but there is no team on the planet that I enjoy watching more than Dortmund, even clearly better teams like Bayern. There is an element of riding a razors edge where they are almost out of control that is fascinating and we constantly act like having a bunch of dudes all trying to occupy the same space in that little half space on the left hand edge of the box CP loves so much is some huge problem, but Dortmund have like 4 guys packed in there and those combinations and interchanges are beautiful. I love this team.
For Halaand that was above average chance, for anyone else that's a bit of a selfish shot at that angle. Was nice to see Sancho getting a bit of his mojo back though.
BvB have some incredible players and some remarkably average players. They won't advance far in the CL or win the league because of the lack of balance in the squad.
Watching Haaland track back on defense during transitions is awesome. You rarely see forwards do that, let alone with such speed and intensity.
they were saying how BVB is struggling and "you have to put that on Gio as well" after they mentioned a struggling sancho and haaland.
That's the consequence of dictating and being very present...you get criticized when the attack isn't going smoothly. Fair or not, the attack isn't smooth.
attack looks like shit but it's down to Favre's tactics imo. They need to be sending in crosses they aren't going to pass the ball into the net against this bunker.
