Sorry if I did anything wrong, I am usually far too lazy to start these things, but my hype-o-meter is out the roof. Dest seems a sure bet to start at this point and Mckennie looks to be on the bench. Ronaldo ruled out from COVID test. Barcelona has never beaten Juventus in Turin. Thx, here is another preview; most everyone has Dest starting on the right again: http://www.thehardtackle.com/round-...neups-prediction-tactics-team-news-key-stats/
Surprised by the Dest move given how good he was in El Clasico. Lots of changes for Barcelona actually. Odd.
Given the president and board resigned I'm not sure who would be pressuring Koeman at the moment. I'd guess this is Koeman tinkering, but who knows.
The oft maligned Dembele with a deflected goal. Immediately after Morata with his usual borderline offside/handball chance, dude is the master of almost scoring.
Wonderful interchange with Griezmann and Messi. You'd bet your house that Messi finishes that, but pulls it wide. It's getting to be a long enough streak that you question Messi's form this year.
Idle thought while watching this game with Messi continually dropping deep to get on the ball, he could play the Pirlo regista role at a world class level until he was like 50, every single pass is incisive and perfect, even when they don't come off.
While I agree his playmaking is world class, as mentioned earlier he doesn't do any of the other work that would be needed.
The game is way more athletic and complete than it was even 10 years ago. I don't think it would fly at a team with CL aspirations. Maaaaybe with Kante paired with him.
Not great for Barca, Araujo injured, FDJ to CD, Busquets into midfield. Watch for Busquets to be pressured and give the ball away. Perhaps increases the chances Dest comes on and they push Roberto into the midfield, if they're losing the midfield battle.
Yup, Juve have looked threatening down that right side as well, I will never understand Dembele, he puts in zero effort, but oozes ability on the ball, what a weirdo. I could see McKennie being called on at some point, Juve is doing a lot more chasing and running than they are used to.
