I say, old chap, this appears to be cricket. edit: I beg your pardon. The simple act of scrolling down the page produces a tidbitly morsel of football news referring to the, erm, Reggae Boyz. I must say this is not the first time I have had to eat partridge as a result of my hasty replies. Cheerio.

seattle article is all well and good... but it's still turf next year we will most likely have two teams on turf... metros look to be going that route... the league should not accept any new teams on turf i don't care how much better than the old turf you tell me it is... it's still turf
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A24898-2002Oct26.html Bottom of story says MLS leaning toward two-game playoff series. Good decision, if true.
if you consider that in a lot of countries, the players on the national team are stars... then it does fit if he were to start getting called in
What a great Seattle Times piece. And I disagree with you, Jim, about the Seattle stadium - - I made it to the big opening Sounders match, and the field looked and played well. As they say, if the alternative is Giants Stadium or the postage stamp of grass at Spartan...well, I think it's at least a possibility.
Considering some precedent has been set for the regular season points champion qualifying automatically for the Champions' Cup, and that the format for the regular season next year hasn't been set yet, I'd say, no. Regardless of how the MLS Cup playoffs are set.
