couple of things -bradley moving teams made the front page of yahoo sports, nothing on the mls cup made that (i'm not talking SI or Sporting News area)... to give you an idea of how big this is -i'm sick of the damn "double" stuff... we have 3 titles, the galaxy aren't going for "the double", they already have 2 titles, they are going for their third... be it treble or a triple crown... i don't care, just signify it somehow
i thought nick was suppose to be out of this stuff... i'm thinking bob is going to have a bit of a time getting that dipshit out of his hair i seriously wish bob all the luck in doing that too, if one thing is for sure... nick needs out i mean of course i'm going to root against the metros and want the fire to always finish ahead... but BB is pure class, thanks for the ride

sweet, sounds like we got a good rivarly going on for this one article says this game should have more attacking and open play than the mls cup final... at the least, there will be in the direction of the goal the crew are defending, but i still hope they pull it out also, merz has a typo on the attendace.... 61,316 not 63,316 as he lists
From the Cobi Jones article in the Dallas Morning News: "Jones played on three U.S. World Cup teams, including squads that flailed in France and soured in South Korea." Soured in South Korea? Did Steve Davis really mean to write "soured"? Or "scored"?
Oh wait, I think he meant to write "soared" in South Korea. That's more like it. EDIT: Just saw your post, Jim. Yeah, "soared" is more like it. I was all up in arms there for a second.
I think his role is to set up the meetings that Bradley wants and Bradley is the one that talks to the player/agents...for all we know maybe Beadley wanted these meetings
The Frisco connection From the FW Star Telegram: "Frisco city manager George Purefoy said Frisco would be interested in building a stadium for the Burn. Asked last week in an online chat how developments for soccer-specific stadiums in the Dallas area and Harrison, N.J., were proceeding, MLS commissioner Don Garber replied, "The next 30-60 days are crucial as both cities have legislative votes to, we hope, approve funding for our facilities. We continue to make progress, continue to be encouraged, and hopeful that both markets will receive approvals." Lamar Hunt's Hunt Sports Group has been negotiating on behalf of Major League Soccer. At this time no formal agreements have been signed between Frisco and HSG." Frisco is just west of McKinney. We'll see how far this goes.
optimistically, lets hope that bradley is not a deal closer and can't negotiate.... maybe he picked the player and then they send nick to go get him..... don't know. but i seriously doubt bradley came here as a coach having to listen to anything from nick. stinky
it's suppose to be closer to dallas than mckinney besides, it seems to be that suburbs are going to be stronger than downtowns... makes some sense too
Anything north of the Cotton Bowl is a shorter drive for KC, COL, CHI, and OKC if they come along eventually. I'm all for it!
