    To be fair, he shouldn't be anywhere near the USMNT at that position. The USMNT has 3 Bundesliga starters, 1 EPL starter, 1 Serie A starter, 1 Belgian League starter, a young Norweigen league starter, and a Mexican league starter that play CM.

    Unfortunately, there really isn't much room for MLS CMs.

    Very good point. Regardless...they let go of a solid MLS CM who was well worth the money.
