I guess Milburn will be with the Freedom in the 2003 season with that dominating performance :D.

Wow 5000 folks at this match. Good job Houston!!!

That is exactly what I am fearing - Please let Jim Gabarra realize that Tracey Milburn is not what he needs for his front line.

I think Atlanta let Milburn score in the hope that it would encourage us to bring her back next year...

    WAS – Meredith Beard (1) (Golebioski, 1) 59’
    WAS – Tracey Milburn (1) (Golebioski, 2) 79’
    WAS – Meredith Beard (2) (Golebioski, 3) 88’
    ATL – Marci Miller (1) (Serlenga, 1) 90’

Looks like somebody (Golebioski) is looking to play their way onto the team. Maybe she did.

Yeah, I was kind of wondering what sort of formation they were playing in the second half - is there such a thing as a 2-4-4?

Re: Re: 10/19: Beat v Freedom in Houston, TX [R]

the formation can possibly be 4-4-2?
    4 defenders
    4 mids
    2 forwards?
this particular formation is the most common, especially in Manchester United's case.

but if it is a 2-4-4 - that is certainly a werid formation! but i have a feeling it is 4-4-2

    GO AUSSIE!!!

Re: Re: Re: 10/19: Beat v Freedom in Houston, TX [R]

The Freedom's standard formation is a 4-4-2 (or maybe more a 4-2-2-2), but in the Houston game they pulled two defenders and replaced them with forwards. So I don't know what the formation looked like after that.
