I was wondering what the hell this one was doing in here. I mean, it's a great article and all, but what the .... Then I got to the key line. Very interesting, indeed.
TJ Simers is a clueless moron. I usually try to avoid his drivel but sometimes I can't help it...damn it. I guess the real issue here is that at least he is aware that MLS/LAG exists.
Guess Bruce won't be coaching the Metros and Dave Sarachan may. The gist of the LA column is making fun of Lieweke - who has some interesting things to say - even if USA Today says the MLS Board of Governors begs to differ.
That the author would rather be covering the Rapids/Galaxy match than a hockey game, especially one that honors Gretzky, whom he blames for bringing hockey to SoCal. And there's stuff on the expansion rumors that are covered elsewhere.
I've just given up and have started avoiding sites that ask me to register without really having any reason to do so (like newspapers). Thanks for telling us the gist of it. Sounds interesting.
Too lazy, yes, and apparently not very quick either . Just type in "bigsoccer" as the username and password to just about every newsprint site that requires registration, and has written stuff about soccer in the past, and you'll be in. Some kind soul has gone ahead and done most of the dirty work (registering) that these stupid newspaper sites require to view articles.
I never heard of him until today. I guess he's L.A.'s version of (N.Y.'s) Mike Lupica. I driveling whiny nerd who probably got his ass kicked at any sport he played. He tried soccer but couldn't hack it as well. Oh well, life goes on.
not sure how many times you guys need to be told this, but login with bigsoccer, bigsoccer at any newsite that is linked in the daily news... if it asks for an email, use bigsoccer@bigsoccer.com i have no idea who set all of them up that way, but that's how it is the other option is to provide fake information... really not that hard either

Star Telegram "Major League Soccer players are serious about forming their own union. Could this be the end of U.S. professional soccer as we know it? Or, perhaps more appropriate, the end of U.S. professional soccer as we don't know it?" Fascinating stuff out of the Fort Worth Paper. Not that I mind the steady stream of ready-to-read articles, Jim, but do you believe that this sort of mention really needs to be posted here?
why should everything be positive? shouldn't we make note of what others have to say as well?? i don't know about you, but i don't live in fantasy land
anytime jim, i'm too quick for you, I better slow down. as a sidenote/random thought, i've been drunk 4 times this week, and it's barely friday afternoon I feel like i've been hit by a truck. Homecoming week will do that to you i guess .
