right now, monaco are in control for the most part in this half. Looks like juventus are trying to get teh ball undercontrol here.

Freddy called for a foul in the center circle.

Is it just me or are they purposely not passing the ball to Freddy?

Its just you. They chipped a pass for Freddy, a bit too high for his height, and he did well to jump up and head it to a teammate.

im having issues following where adu is right now, last half he was wide up top, and now it seems like hes playing more centeral.

I assumed they moved Freddy to AMC and moved Bakar out wide.

Poor touch by Adu leads to dangerous free kick.

Adu subbed out. Played 67 minutes.

In all fairness, the pass to him was pretty terrible (off the mark and bouncing) making it difficult to control. But yes it was his turnover.

I'm just saying, especially after the freekick, why didn't the guy give him the ball right back, he was open and he had some space... That last pass Freddy had probably did him in though, the one leading the the freekick...

Aside from the last touch before he was subbed, a very good performance from Adu. Having seen what he can do in close quarters going forward, you would think his teammates would look for him more. Pretty uninspired from Monaco for the most part, although they are playing Juventus.

Because they were looking to play the ball in the middle. If they passed to freddy near the sideline, he would have been closed down by 1 or 2 defenders and likely had to swing in a cross to the middle due to the fact that the box was still cluttered from the free kick. And they were looking for a cross in the middle anyway so why not play it early?

Any way to post a highlight of Freddy's drawing of the penalty?

Great to see Freddy get time, period, much less v. Juventus, even if it's a friendly. Good stuff.
