Pretty clearly Monaco have been saving Adu all season for this one - a masterstroke to showcase his talents on the game's grandest stage.
Juventus are playing a number of first-teamers: Nedved, del Piero, Amauri, and Sissoko are all on the pitch, I believe.
So far it's been pretty grim, with Juve having all the possession and several very good chances. It looked like (hard to tell because of the picture quality in the stream) that Adu took a 25 yard shot that went well wide about 5 minutes ago.
Freddy just made a sick pass to free Gakpé, but it was wrongly called offside. Basically the first threatening move Monaco has made so far, 14 minutes in.
That was a legit penalty, too. Nice work by Freddy. He worked the ball in from near the left touchline into the box while facing two defenders, finally teasing one into a clumsy tackle.
Was that Adu that did a nice job receiving, holding against pressure, then laying off the ball to the right wing (the right wing then pooched the pass, but...)?
