He hit Scholes in the chest, Scholes went down holding his face. I doubt United will want to review it.

Oooooh, I've seen them given, although it did look a bit ball to hand. Still - hit him right around the elbow in the box.....

fair enough... i've taken a shot to the solar plexus before and it was not pleasant in the least but im not sure if that's where scholes got hit or if he was just acting...

close game... I feel far from safe and wish to hell Keane's shot had hit the back of the net... Moro is getting chances in front of goal... thank God he is not Ruud other wise he might have had one or two "easy tap-ins" no?

I really fancy Ronaldo's chances to score from long range in the 2nd half :)

If anyone needs a goal, its Ronaldo. All he has been doing lately is dancing wide then losing the ball and falling down.

    SPanish Armada, hah.

Ahh, what a great game thus far, and who better to score than Wayne Rooney, you see what that goal did for him. He's lively now when before he was a bit out of it. And man, what does Keane have to do to get that 50th? What a sublime volley and that's like the third time he hit the post this season...man...

Big Al needs to bring Smith in if he wants to survive the second half.

On the whole United, I don't think, has really settled in yet. Pool is has looked a little better.

That said it could be 2-0 had KEane's shot been two inches lower. He had Dudek beaten.

Defensively though we are pretty solid. If we can get Saha into the match, I think we'll be in good shape in the annual Felix DeSouza fixture.

Does anyone know what happened to Alan Smith ? Maybe Sir is giving him a rest today to keep him from getting sent off the way he did in the Citeh match. I just wish he was out there to scare the piss out of the leeverfool folk.

I would not mind seeing Miller or O'Shea on for Fletcher if O'Shea comes on let Phil play next to Keane and O'Shea at RB because we need some more activity from our players and O'Shea's height wont hurt us any either as there are alot of headers to be won...

My word the pace of this game is rediculous... attacks on both sides within seconds of each other...

Riise put a nice move on Rooney i think it was...

Scholes is playing out of his mind today... good vision and passing and some absolutely Keanesque tackling...

    Ronaldo threatens again...

Rooney needing police escort to the tunnel at the half...the kop going absolutely nuts...
..we got 'em where we want 'em...
...We are vain and we are blind
I hate people when they're not polite ....
