    Jovan's been getting a lot of action off Steve Bruce's subs' bench lately-- could this be more of the same, or more than that?

    Kickoff at 7 a.m. PT, 10 a.m. ET (2 a.m. Melbourne time for me). If anyone's got details of TV or webcast info, please post it within...

    News briefs/round-up forthcoming.

    * * *I'm William, and this is the news* * *

    Just got back to the house after spending the day in Geelong with my in-laws, so here's a brief round-up of what's happening with this match...

    If anyone else has any other articles to add, go for it. :)

    PbP duties are up for grabs as well...

    what would it take for Jovan to become a starter, a last minute goal winner ? if he could get more then 5 minutes and make an impact would help . I wonder if he is getting any better or just filling in for injured players .

    And now Southampton down to 10 after clash of heads -- David Prutton sent off.

    I think Jovan just isn't good enough. He has enough skill for the Premiereship, it's just that he's not as athletic as you would like, especially his lack of pace. He could make up for this shortcoming by improving his technical skills, but he hasn't, for whatever reason. I think he's done the best he could with the talent he has, and has made a good living as a journeyman, but has never totally settled in anywhere. At this point in a player's career, he's not going to get any better.

    Most of the criticism of him comes from our high expectations. But in reality, he's probably done the best he could, and just couldn't meet our expectations. I wish him the best.

    In extra time Kirovski in for Morrison.
    Just a time wasting effort.

    This is exactly right. I too, wish him the best. Perhaps this should be the end of the over the top Kirovski criticisms.
