And here I thought Brad couldn't get any more intimidating.

    Great pic - thanks

    I saw this in today's Guardian -

    http://football.guardian.co.uk/News_Story/0,1563,867656,00.html

    I love the positive spin:

"On a more positive note it does mean a rested and refreshed Ugo will be returning as we enter the vital final phase of the season and he could make a very important impact then." - Boro assistant manager Bill Beswick

    More Friedel praise

It's getting to be standard, but here's another random article that references Friedel as a top EPL keeper, in the context of praising Southampton's new keeper:

    http://soccernet.espn.go.com/feature?id=253514&cc=5901

"But the major addition to the defence has been the outstanding Finnish keeper Antti Niemi who, at £2 million, is looking one of the signings of the season and a rival to Brad Friedel and Carlo Cudicini as the best in the Premiership. "

Maybe Boro needs to get Mastroeni on loan? :)
