Not sure why the thread title is two for one. More like Buy 2+, get one free

I just got mine! I'm on the first row of section 106, so getting the seat next to me was a little to much to hope for. However my spare is 5 rows up in the "Stuart Holden family section", so my daughter will sit there when Euan's in town. Of course I'm still hoping for a seat relocation in January!

Price $85 more than last year. Not bad for two, and the ASG!

Why? Cause if you only have one, you get one free, right?

I think I may be about to do the same thing, except my Continetal card says "Bernanke" on it. ;)

(Btw, you can get a really good deal on a round trip, non-stop flight on Continental to Seattle for MLS Cup right now. I'm planning on going no matter what, as I did last year. Fares are under $300 and I doubt they'll get much better than that for a non-stop.)

Thinking about it seriously. What are your dates of travel?

I'm flying in Sunday morning and flying back on Monday afternoon. I have a commitment on Saturday, so a longer trip doesn't work for me. Seattle may be difficult for a lot of people across the country, but it's an interesting place to visit and I'm sure they'll be great MLS Cup hosts.

You have to have at least 2 STs to qualify.

Thanks for that heads up - I actually had already purchase on Southwest about 6 weeks ago - but their fare is about $360 and it isn't even direct. So I banked that for the future and got a direct Continental leaving Friday through Monday for $100 less.:D

Btw, don't forget if you're a current TA member or ex-member back in town/out of rehab check our boards for season ticket renewal information/FRIEND prices.

If your interested in joining just pm me for more info. Membership does have it's rewards (wink, wink, nudge, nudge). Trust me our requirements are NOT stringent, basically have a pulse and love the Orange. That's about it. Hell they let me in.

I would not wish to be a member of an organization which would have someone like me as a member:D

Cool. One day, I will feel your excitement! I don't buy cause I always work on game day and must catch the replays. But I can go to Champions League games as there in the mid week.

Good idea in my mind. One extra ticket means that each season ticket holder can 'bring a friend' to a game. Since they cant guarantee the seat close to you, it means that you cant use that ticket for your wife or kid so it means it will have to go to a friend. A great way to bring a new person to the Dynamo game, plus it's manufactured attendance.

I got the seat right behind me! That way the kid can stand in front of me and see the match and not bother anyone since I can see over him.

also good for when I bring a friend, so when I taunt a player and they look up, I'll point to my friend behind me.

I finally got mine... me and my friend got 2 tickets in the next section over near the front, pretty good seats I think. Nothing else close to us in 204, but that's ok. There's usually plenty of room for friends to join us.

While I was doing that I was also buying tickets on Continental to Seattle for the big pre-Thanksgiving weekend... $218 if you leave Friday morning and come back early Monday afternoon. Pretty cool. All the other flights are still $258 or more.
