I know this is a little late in the game, but I just got a phone call from John Jones with Fado at Easton. Apparently the regional office of Fado has put together a Chicago trip for Crew fans wishing to see Columbus take on Chicago in Naperville on 09/22 (something I think they also did for Fire fans coming to Columbus this weekend). The trip specifics in paragraph form: The trip costs $50/ person. The coach will depart the Easton Fado on 09/22 between 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and proceed directly to Naperville. After the match the coach will head to the Fado in downtown Chicago for dinner. The targeted return time to Columbus is 3:00 a.m. - 4:00 a.m. Monday morning. The trip cost includes breakfast food on the bus to Chicago, (3) free beers [on the coach, I think], dinner at Chicago Fado (cornbeef sandwiches and chips), transportation and match ticket. You can also bring whatever food and drink you wish on the bus. I believe that's all the pertinent information. That seems like a pretty good deal, except for the fact that I no longer live in Columbus and cannot go. Man that sucks! However, food, transport and ticket for $50 is a decent deal, especially if you factor in the fact that you can drink on the bus and don't have to worry about any of the driving.
