    Wasn't in the script :D

Shame Gallas wasn't playing to sulk at the final whistle.

So relieved when I saw that Birmingham goal flash up. Really thought the dirty goons were going to steal it. Nice on Kevin Phillips.

Villa destroyed today. I still fancy us to beat Chelski at home, this was just a freak score against a knackered team.

I come bearing gifts! This week, I offer you a fantastic, sure-handed keeper from Spain. His name is Manuel Almunia.

And please do show up against United and Chelsea, ok?

    Great, thanks.

The score line really did flatter Chelski a bit. They were the better team, for sure... but not that good. Villa did look utterly knackered, though. One more stumble from them, and their challenge for 4th place is done.

Like Man City, Chelski play a brand of what I like to call "Frankenstein Football." They've got so many good players, but I still get the sense that they've all been crudely stitched together. All the elements of a great team are there: pace, power, strength, and creativity. But even if they do win in the end, it's always... a bit ugly.

Last time Arsenal went to Birmingham they got a leg broke. This time, they got their heart broke.
