I searched both fora to 3-4 pages deep before creating this. Really, guys? I got up at 07:30 KST (GMT +9) in a howling rainstorm (very neat, actually) to watch both matches, regardless of which one we're in :)

Stream at www.atdhe.net (somebody routing Telefutura). Two guys in a booth so far.

The channel owner switches to FSC, they go to commercial, he goes back to Telefutura.

The "official" site www.goldcup.org has been down (for me) since right after Panama-Mexico. Still down. I fall back to Univision's live coverage for lineups and (belated) PBP.

No anthems, kick-off! Off-screen time kept on my stopwatch next to my mouse :)

03' 0-0 USA deigns to allow Haiti early possession ... at our box top ... right corner kick ... Robles bobbles, collects.

06' 1-0 USA #15 Sam Cronin from center back 1/3 feeds #10 Stuart Holden in center front 1/3, he threads a forward pass beween Haiti's backline mid-left into #22 Davy Arnaud's stride at box top left, Arnaud pulls Jean-Zerphirin out and slots it under him and just inside the left post.

17' 1-0 Haiti pops a short header over USA's back line to #11 Fabrice Noel, all alone at box top left and way offside :p

From the Haiti-Grenada game, my impression was that Haiti has good to excellent ball control and passing, but not much pace. They had no trouble out-possessing Grenada vs. light pressure. I expect USA to put their backline under much more duress.

22' 1-0 Haiti sustains some possession as USA coasts a bit. Cross from the right corner floats harmlessly over the endline.

23' 1-0 USA counters up the middle, floats a ball toward double-covered Cooper at the left post, and #8 Aveska hauls him down in the box with one arm. USA left corner to the near post, Heaps heads over.

25' 1-0 USA drifts up the mid-right deep, crosses into the box, flick header at near post, #22 Arnaud glances a header at the far post 6, but can't get enough forehead on it. For Haiti, it's another scary breakdown.

27' 1-0 Arnaud two-handed grabs #12 Marcelin around the waist and spins him down, yellow card. Off the restart, Haiti switch field to the right, and Robles catches a lob.

29' 1-0 USA counters up the mid-right, #10 Holden blasts a shot from two mowed stripes out = 25m+ mid-right, over Jean-Zerphirin and off the crossbar! Cooper tries a bicycle but can't get any power on it, Jean-Zerphirin collects.

30' 1-0 Haiti counters, #11 Noel fires his own long shot from 20m, center high and Robles blocks it out.

31' 1-0 Haiti splits USA's defense just above our box top, embellish a contact at box top midleft enough to draw a foul. Free kick sails way over.

35' 1-0 USA plays up to Holden in a small pocket in midfield, he quickly threads a long through-ball into the box top, and just misses Quaranta/Arnaud. USA's "problem" so far is that we're trying really quick killer diagonal passes out of midfield, and they miss. Still, that's not a bad problem to have.

37' 1-0 Cooper holds ball at box top vs. tight marking, dribbles like a hippo underwater , finally crosses left, fizzle. Sheesh -- take off the tutu, drive hard endline, cutback for a shot, do something :p

40' 1-0 Haiti works it up to our box top, one missed pass and we collect it, then methodically ping about 8 passes in a row, inexorably driving Haiti back beyond midfield.

42' 1-0 Some comedy -- #9 Saint-Preux pursues a ball at the right sideline, #12 Jimmy Conrad slide-tackles way way late, clips a hopping Saint-Preux about 1.5m into touch.

43' 1-0 More comedy -- USA sends a long ball rolling up the left box edge, #13 Colin Clark chases it to the endline, tries the last-gasp leaping cross, whiffs cleanly, and slides into the endboards.

45' 1-0 USA left corner, somebody with light hair (Holden?) runs inside-out and heads it just over at the near post.

45+3' 1-0 Parkhurst has a brain fart -- defending a raid up our left box edge, first he heads to himself toward our endline, allowing Haiti #? to continue his run. Then he turns inside, gets into a wresting match with #? (who looks to have about 10 kg mass advantage), and finally coughs up a little touch that sends #? in alone. From wide of the left post, #? crosses past a sprawling #11 Noel to #19 Vaniel Sirin at the far post 6, who one-times a shot into either Robles or our far-post defender, back to Sirin, and his 2nd try slices into the side netting.

Telefutura really loved stirring the pot over Holden's 29' shot off the crossbar -- they showed about five slo-mo replays of the ball ricocheting nearly straight down and bouncing just outside the goal line, with freeze-frame of the scrunched ball on the ground, as in tennis. Clearly out, no big deal. But we appreciate the thought :)

46' 1-1 Haiti play up the right, #9 Saint-Preux fakes #16 Heaps out of his stance, goes endline, crosses over Robles, who whiffs halfheartedly, and a diving #15 Ednerson Raymond eludes notice and heads in at the far post to center high.

49' 1-2 Haiti up the right box edge again, Saint-Preux touches inside, this time Heaps has learned his lesson, and clears it to 30m -- #14 Mony Chery collects at the 2nd mowed stripe out, waits for a two-count, and fires Holden's shot from 27m -- left upper 90, and a hard rebound off the angled back post.

55' 1-2 Back and forth. Haiti raids up the right, beats us endline again, crosses through the box, loses it. We switch to the left, #17 Cooper gets closed down by #12 Marcelin, shoulder-charge sends both of them down, Cooper loses the ball, and Marcelin mis-steps on Cooper's leg and turns his ankle. Haiti comes back up the right, eventually cough it up. USA collects, breaks up our left, then plays out into touch as Marcelin is still down. He goes off on the stretcher.

58' 1-2 USA sustains a build-up at Haiti's box top -- Haiti can't clear. We ping back to midfield, send Arnaud up the left edge, too heavy and it rolls over the endline.

60' 1-2 USA throw-in left near box top. Cross is intercepted and hoofed clear. 2nd throwin, we play a cool back-heel up the left sideline, Haiti eventually clears into touch again. 3rd throw-in, long cross drifts too far, Jean-Zerphirin catches it high.

65' 1-2 USA left corner, deflects to back post 6, Davies(?) fires into a defender on the line. Right corner is cleared, USA recollects behind midfield.

66' 1-2 Holden lofts a cross over Davies at the far post, he backpasses to 20m left, hard shot sails high.

68' 1-2 #13 Clark raids up the left edge, crosses to center 14m, Holden runs right-to-left and glances a header just wide of the right post.

69' 1-2 High ball confuses #8 Aveska at box top center, he heads poorly right into Davies' path, Davies carries into the box and shoots wide right.
